I hope your day is going well。 And if it isn't, I hope that tomorrow or sometime soon, it gets better because I promise that it will get better。 Maybe not today or tomorrow, but one day soon。 There's a light at the end of the tunnel, and you have to keep going and moving forward regardless。 Life gets rough, but we always find peace。Do things that make you happy。 You deserve it。With love forever,Reenie💋 。。。more

Day 7 Spring Readathon 2021God, this little book was just amazing。 It is so enlightening and heartwarming to be reminded of the simple things that makes life wonderful。 The little prince lives on a little planet out there in the universe。 His planet is so little that he can walk around the globe in a few steps (and therefore see the sunset whenever he wants)。 He has three volcanoes (two active and one dead) which he cleans every day。 He is responsible for weeding out the baobab seedlings off his Day 7 Spring Readathon 2021God, this little book was just amazing。 It is so enlightening and heartwarming to be reminded of the simple things that makes life wonderful。 The little prince lives on a little planet out there in the universe。 His planet is so little that he can walk around the globe in a few steps (and therefore see the sunset whenever he wants)。 He has three volcanoes (two active and one dead) which he cleans every day。 He is responsible for weeding out the baobab seedlings off his planet to prevent them from growing large and overtaking it。 One day he meets a beautiful flower in his garden and he falls in love with her, he is very tender towards her and they are very close。 But one day, he decides to explore the universe to see what else is out there。 First he ends up on a few strange planets, where he encounters people who possess negative treats which we see nowadays in adults: vanity, hunger for authority, greed and indoctrination (blindly following rules just for the sake of following rules)。 He is disappointed with his explorations and decides to visit Earth。 On Earth he ends up in the desert and encounters a snake, a garden of roses, a fox and the man at the train station。 He is told by all these creatures that people are superficial and mindless, that they wander around the earth looking for nothing。 That they do not take care of their feelings and don’t stop to enjoy little things。The little prince receives a lesson in friendship from the fox, who becomes his first friend and teaches him about what it means to hold somebody (or something) dear。 Then, he meets our narrator, a pilot who just crashed in the desert。 They little prince tells the pilot his story and they become friends。 The little prince guides the pilot to a water well before he departs, to go back to his little planet and back to his beloved flower。The ideas in this book are so pure and simple and the way they are delivered is so careful and soft mannered。 I think a great deal of inspiration can be drawn from the experiences of the little prince as well as from his approach to life。 We should consider living in a more romantic world, where sunsets are to be looked forward to, where the moon is mesmerizes us every time, where we see stars and think of our lovers and where we let ourselves be 'tamed' by the foxes in our lives and learn to live with them and cherish the experience of love even in bitter pain。 Here are some quotes I loved:“For the sunset。 We must wait until it is time。 But on your tiny planet, my little prince, all you need do is move your chair a few steps。 You can see the day end and the twilight falling whenever you like 。 。 。 “One day,” you said to me, “I saw the sunset forty-four times!” And a little later you added: “You know-one loves the sunset, when one is so sad 。 。 。” “Were you so sad, then?” I asked, “on the day of the forty-four sunsets?” But the little prince made no reply。"“If someone loves a flower, of which just one single blossom grows in all the millions and millions of stars, it is enough to make him happy just to look at the stars。 He can say to himself, ‘Somewhere, my flower is there 。 。 。’ But if the sheep eats the flower, in one moment all his stars will be darkened 。 。 。 And you think that is not important!”"You are beautiful, but you are empty。 One could not die for you。 To be sure, an ordinary passerby would think that my rose looked just like you—the rose that belongs to me。 But in herself alone she is more important than all the hundreds of you other roses: because it is she that I have watered; because it is she that I have put under the glass globe; because it is she that I have sheltered behind the screen; because it is for her that I have killed the caterpillars (except the two or three that we saved to become butterflies); because it is she that I have listened to, when she grumbled, or boasted, or ever sometimes when she said nothing。 Because she is my rose""You are beautiful, but you are empty。 One could not die for you。 To be sure, an ordinary passerby would think that my rose looked just like you—the rose that belongs to me。 But in herself alone she is more important than all the hundreds of you other roses: because it is she that I have watered; what is essential is invisible to the eye。 What is essential is invisible to the eye。 It is the time you have wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important。" 。。。more

My favorite books, now and forever will always be the stories you can read for both kids and adults。I remember reading this book at age 12 and now I read it at age 22 with many observations my kid self never saw。My favorite stories will always be the alcoholic that drinks to forget, the serious business man, and most importantly the fox。It's always fun to look at things with the eyes of a child, and thankfully the book does it for you。10/10 would recommend My favorite books, now and forever will always be the stories you can read for both kids and adults。I remember reading this book at age 12 and now I read it at age 22 with many observations my kid self never saw。My favorite stories will always be the alcoholic that drinks to forget, the serious business man, and most importantly the fox。It's always fun to look at things with the eyes of a child, and thankfully the book does it for you。10/10 would recommend 。。。more

To my suprise, I enjoyed it。 I'm not a philosophy type of person, but It was written well。 I was kind of forced to read it, by my teacher, that threatend us with an exam about it (she did gave us the exam)。I had an opinion about every character and that's a good thing。 Sometimes I pass characters, not remembering a thing about them, with this book wasn't the case tho。 To my suprise, I enjoyed it。 I'm not a philosophy type of person, but It was written well。 I was kind of forced to read it, by my teacher, that threatend us with an exam about it (she did gave us the exam)。I had an opinion about every character and that's a good thing。 Sometimes I pass characters, not remembering a thing about them, with this book wasn't the case tho。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 Novelnya ringan, semacam dongeng anak kecil。 Bikin orang dewasa berpikir, apa makna dari dongeng ini。Keren sih ini。 Must read, banyak makna tersirat yang didapatkan dari buku ini。 Bikin orang dewasa memahami perspektif dari anak kecil yang tidak serumit orang dewasa。Apalagi di bab XXII Pangeran Cilik bertanya pada tukang wesel "Mereka terburu-buru sekali。 Apa yang mereka cari?"
